Since 2020, the PCD has been working with the Village of Earlville and the Earlville for Earlville community group to redesign the skate park and playground adjacent to the former school on Fayette Street. With the planned renovation of the adjacent former school building into senior housing, the park was re-imagined to contain new multi-generational features alongside the existing recreational spaces. Throughout the process, the community has been enthusiastic and eager to give feedback on the designs.

In 2025, the Village of Earlville was awarded $627,847 through the Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation for the redesign and construction of the new Fayette Street Park. The PCD is excited to work with Earlville to finally make the community’s vision a reality.
